Friday Catch up

11 July 2025
A very good evening from swim HQ.
I hope you all are chilling in this heatπŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅πŸ₯΅.
Tomorrow will be our last proper swim class for club, next week will be organised games with all of the classes.
Our teachers have worked so hard this term to make sure the children have completed all of the water safety certificates for this summer session #πŸ…πŸ…πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰.
Thank you to all Who have contacted me regarding joining us at club, I still have places next term if you know of anyone that would like to join us please contact me at the usual address.
One the main topics I have been reading is the dangers of rivers, lakes and the sea especially with the temperatures so high, it’s so easy to assume the cool waters as safe.
So many dangers are hidden, our whole term at club has hopefully been very engaging for all of our swimmers.
With all the activities we do during the lesson all of this is taught around behaviour and being safe in and around water.
I hope you have been able to talk your children about the activities we have done each weekπŸ…
Please any questions about club I’m available on poolside or you can message me.
Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow.

I found this and I feel this is such a powerful message to share .
May be an image of 3 people, people swimming and text that says '1500 Being able to swim is an essential life saving skill. Swim England'
